About the Job
Grateful Heart Veterinary Hospital is an independently owned, small animal practice seeking an experienced Veterinary CSR to join our team. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic calendar. 
  • Check clients in/out and process payments with accuracy.
  • Accurately document patient information and care as part of the medical record.
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a busy environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Provide compassionate support to clients during routine visits and difficult circumstances.
  • Assist with other administrative and front-desk duties as needed.
  • Support a positive work environment that is focused on collaboration, teamwork, professionalism, and provide compassionate and efficient care to patients. 
  • Support hospital organization and patient care workflow.

Qualification Requirements/Skills:
  • Veterinary experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and basic veterinary medical procedures. 
  • Able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time and performing physical tasks.
  • Experience with EzyVet software is a plus (not required).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in typing and basic computer skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Ensure the completion of all assigned hospital duties before the end of each shift.
  • Adhere to OSHA standards and regulations as outlined in company policies.
  • Ability to perform other job duties as assigned.
